Around my mind I found a smile
lurking, smiling, undefined,
Against its own nature, unrestrained.
Should I fancy to catch such smile
and distort it into a plea
like the kind I'm used to see.
Around my mind I found your eyes
splendid, staring, longing
Against their own nature, undefeated.
Should we fancy to lock them
into a profound stare
until your eyes are watering
like the kind I'm used to wear.
Around my mind I found so many corners
and so many bounds
Laws that are more than mere restrictions
because they are cored to the ground
